My name is Gina Hamby. I have been teaching for 12 years. 11 of those years have been in first grade. I love this age group! Everything is so exciting! I went to public school in Bernie, MO. I earned my Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education from Arkansas State University (Go Redwolves!). I then went on and earned my Master's Degree from William Woods University in Curriculum and Instruction.
I am married and have two dogs. One is a chocolate lab mix named Jax and the other is a basset hound named Rascal. They keep us entertained. My favorite hobby is reading and I enjoy traveling.
